(i) Given numbers are 1.5, 5.5, 2.7, 9.9.
For example, to say the numbers are in proportion or not. We have to prove a: b = c: d.
Now, we find 1.5: 5.5 = 2.7: 9.9.
1.5: 5.5 = \(\frac{1.5}{5.5}\) = \(\frac{1.5×10}{5.5×10}\) = \(\frac{15}{55}\) = \(\frac{3}{11}\)
